Challenging tasks are nothing new at PPS Project & Packaging Solutions – on Schilfstraße in Hamburg, whether it is bulky consignments, heavy loads or transport goods with special requirements. As a packing station and cargo handling warehouse, we are specialised in project logistics and out of gauge cargo, in addition to conventional full and less than full container loads (FCL and LCL).
Loading and unloading for imports and exports – we take charge of all kinds of sea freight, from standardised cargo to non-standard loads. To ensure that, we have a powerful fleet of vehicles, a modern warehouse system, a rail connection, a hazardous goods and a bonded warehouse – along with an excellent and competent team. With our specialist knowledge and long-standing experience, we are able to dispatch – or receive – any type of cargo by sea. We build on transparent communication with you as the customer and carefully conceived plans in the process.

Out of Gauge
Apart from standard loading and unloading procedures, our specialities include cargo that does not fit in standard 20 or 40-foot containers. We can organise box loads or open top and flat rack containers just as easily as the transport of reefer containers. To ensure quick and efficient loading, our crane hall is equipped with mobile overhead cranes that can shift loads weighing up to 30 tonnes and are suitable for any type of seaworthy crate and sledge packing.
Project & Packaging Solutions is your first port of call for planning elaborate logistics – from the packaging and fulfilment of complex heavy-lift cargo to handling steel. Our premises also houses fumigation facilities for import and export. Measures include flooding the loads with special gases for preventative pest control.
